Celebrating World Book Day at School
Our school had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day. The day was filled with excitement, creativity, and a shared love of reading.
Pupils arrived at school dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing many well-known stories to life. From classic heroes to magical characters, the costumes made the school feel like a real storybook.
Throughout the day, pupils took part in shared reading activities with their classmates. They enjoyed reading together, discussing their favourite books, and discovering new stories. Sharing books helped everyone experience the joy of reading and listening to different voices and ideas.
Story time was another highlight of the day. Pupils listened carefully as stories were read aloud, using their imagination to picture the characters and adventures. These moments reminded everyone how powerful and enjoyable storytelling can be. Thank you to families who volunteered to read.
World Book Day was a fantastic celebration of books, creativity, and the importance of reading. It was wonderful to see pupils so enthusiastic about stories and sharing their love of books with others.
